BOISE... STATE! BOISE... STATE! BOISE... STATE!

OMG! That game was awesome! We (Aivars, Eriks and I) went down to the local bar because we don’t get ESPN. It was great because our waitress went to Boise State too (she is now finishing up at San Jose State)! We had a lot of fun cheering on the Broncos with her.
Here is a summary of my emotions during the game
Quarter One: Cocky
Quarter Two: Angry
Quarter Three: Worried
Quarter Four: Ecstatic!
When we won, we were all screaming and I was jumping up and down in the middle of the bar. The waitress gave the three of us shots on the house to celebrate our victory! Let’s just say she got a $20 tip from us…
We walked home very happy and just a little tipsy! :)
What a great night!

Wicked

Most of you already know this, but Wicked has been one of my favorite musicals since it came out when I was in High School. Every road trip, I torment Eriks by making him listen to the soundtrack as I belt out the show tunes with the actors.
Wicked has been in the bay area for a while and closing weekend was last week. I have wanted to go to Wicked since I found out that it was here, but knew the tickets were expensive, so I didn’t really mention it to Eriks.
Well… Eriks being the most AMAZING man that he is, told me last month or so that he was going to take me to see Wicked! I couldn’t believe it! I have been so so so excited! He really is such a thoughtful and caring man that defiantly spoils me <3!
After much counting down, Saturday finally came. I was so excited I could spit. I couldn’t contain myself. We grabbed some muffins on the way to the train station and then hopped on the train into the city.

Us on the train

We decided to go ahead and walk to the theatre. It was only about two miles or so. I was so excited that I guess I was partially running. Eriks kept having to tell me to slow down every five minutes or so. We both found it kinda funny.

We finally arrived at the theatre!

Of course I had to get a picture in front of the Wicked sign. I wish I would of thought to make Eriks stand in front of the sign to get a picture of him too.

These were the signs on each side of the theatre. I thought they were really cool.

Now Playing!

Entering the theatre

Eriks bought me a program!

Waiting in line to get some souvenirs at the Oz Dust Boutique

Me and my program and lapel pin and magnate! Thank you honey! Can you tell how excited I am?

After that, we went into the theatre to watch the show. I cannot put into words how amazing the show was. I was breathless almost the entire time.
During intermission Eriks and I split a coke and a bag of peanut M&Ms. It was very yummy! While we were outside getting some fresh air, we snapped this picture before heading back into the theatre for the rest of the show.

I wouldn't give any hints to Eriks about the end of the show or the plot line. It was really fun to watch him be surprised at the end. I was the very first person to stand up for the standing ovation. What a great show!
While walking back we stopped in the square and snapped a quick picture with this really cute heart. There are actually four of them around the area, but this one is my favorite!

After that, Eriks took me out to a really nice dinner. I had a coke and Eriks had a Tom Collins. For an appetizer we both got a Caesar salad. For dinner I had the baked salmon with potatoes and asparagus, and Eriks had the Ham. The food was fabulous! I ate every bit of mine! For dessert, we got the mouthwatering chocolate mousse cake. We were so full by the time we left.
We managed to waddle back to the train station with more than enough time to spare to catch the train home. While we were on the train, we got bored (alright, I got bored) and decided to snap some pictures.

Eriks told me that he wanted me to have an amazing night, and I did. I love him so much. Whether we are going out for a wonderful night like this or just hanging out at home, he always makes me feel so special. I am a very lucky girl!
