The thing that I always check out first is the dessert table. The desserts this year certainly did not disappoint. There were candy covered apples, caramel covered apples, rice krispy treats, snickers on a stick, and some other pastry things all on top of some fabulous cakes. (the tree house and the pumpkins are cakes!)
The Party was also catered. All of the food was fabulous! There was salad and bread, these pizza pie kind of things, there was ravioli, some green bean dish, and several types of chili. It was all sooo good. Along with the food and dessert table, there was also a cookie design studio and all of the candy you could eat and or take home. I ate so much! On top of all of that, there was also a full and open bar!

My favorite part of it all I would have to say were the decorations, they were just beautiful!
After eating to our fill, it was pumpkin carving time! Zach and Marissa had set up a pumpkin patch so that everyone at the party could pick out a pumpkin to carve.

There was a pumpkin carving contest going on, so after you were done carving, you had to put it on the shelf to be judged with all of the other pumpkins. Can you spot ours?
Not only did all of the guests carve pumpkins, but professional pumpkin carvers were flown in from Seattle to carve 1000lb pumpkins. Of course I did not get a picture of those 2 pumpkins, but I did take a picture of the three 500lb pumpkins that she hired local art students come and carve.
On top of all of that, there was always a movie playing for people to watch. During most of the party A Scooby Doo Halloween Movie and a Charlie Brown Halloween Movie played. But, once 10pm hit, they played Halloween. I only got about halfway through it before I got to tired and decided it was time to go home.
Eriks and I had so much fun! We are so lucky to live where we do and to have such generous neighbors!
